Founded
in early 1977 by Bilal Hammad. Since
then it has built a respectable reputation as a dedicated group of people
who believe in design that compliments the site, enhances the environment
and satisfies the users needs. Aiming to produce buildings that respond
to its environment and cultural context, trying to strike a balance between
the progressive ideals of modernisation and the interpretation of the
local culture and environment. Several
of its projects have gained appreciation at both local and international
levels, and have become subjects of research and analysis in international
and local publications as well as schools of architecture and interior
design. Bilal
Hammad Born
in 1952 in Nablus and raised in Amman, Jordan. He studied architecture
at the faculty of Engineering/ University of Alexandria, Egypt and graduated
in 1975. After working for two years with Rasem Badran he established
his own practice in 1977 in Amman and has since realised a considerable
body of work in jordan and few projects outside. His
interest in the enhancement of the built environment goes beyond architectural
design into urban, landscape and interior design in addition to corporate
identity and graphic design and its integration with architecture. He
is a consultant (Architecture, Urban design and landscape) for the municipality
of Amman, the city of Aqaba region authority, in addition to several private

Nida’
Massannat Born
in Irbid in 1958 and raised in Amman. She completed her graduate studies
at the faculty of engineering / university of Jordan, Amman in 1981. She
is the chief architect and designer with a solid experience in supervising
working drawing and management of resources. Guest critic at several universities in Jordan.
